The Choral Union is a mixed voice (SATB) ensemble of 60-75 singers affiliated with the Department of Performing Arts at SUNY Cortland. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for Cortland students, faculty and staff to join adult volunteer singers of central New York in performing the masterworks of the choral tradition, under the direction of a trained, experienced professional conductor. While there is no audition required for membership, experience in and commitment to artistic choral singing is expected. All interested singers are welcome.Rehearsals are on Monday nights from 7pm until about 8:45pm during the semester in the Dowd Fine Arts Building.
